Creating strong bodies, happy hearts & creative minds since 2015.

Our Story

DWMA was born from a passion to show children just how wonderful they are through the joy of dance.

Why?

Alice recognized the need for a fresh approach to dance education that moved beyond rigid traditions. She dreamed of creating a supportive space where celebration, creativity, focus and fun could all blossom together with good dance technique—so that kids always feel good about themselves.

How?

1. Let Them Dance

Dance gives us the unique opportunity to explore sides of ourselves that can truly set our hearts free and make both our bodies and spirits happy.

2. Make A Positive Impact

We lead with heart and welcome every dancer with love, support, and inclusivity—because every dancer deserves to feel special, valued, and celebrated for who they are.

3. Benefit Them Beyond The Stage

Whether your dancer takes their very first twirl with us, leaps for years to come, or goes on to light up the stage at Disneyland, we want them to have a joyful, fun and confidence-filled experience with dance that will always influence them positively.

Meet Miss Alice

A young girl in a cream-colored dress and ballet shoes is dancing and smiling against a plain background.
A woman with blonde hair smiling outdoors, wearing a light-colored floral top with ruffled sleeves.
Miss Alice in a pink dress with a large pink flower in her hair, smiling outdoors near a tree.
A woman and a girl smiling, with the woman wearing a pink hat and pink shirt, and the girl in a pink shirt with a heart logo. They are indoors with a light blue background.

Inspiration

When Miss Alice was 5 she cried the moment she saw her best friend dancing on stage and realized she wasn't there, too. Thank goodness her mother enrolled her in a Sydney ballet class shortly after...

Around the World

From Sydney to San Francisco — and even sharing the stage with Kylie Minogue — Miss Alice’s journey blends world-class training and performing with a degree in Education from Melbourne University.

Discovering Enchantment

In San Francisco, Miss Alice discovered a new love for writing kids music. She developed a princess ballerina character, having a strong vision to connect children with traditional early learning concepts, while challenging the way princesses were defined.

Dance with Miss Alice Comes To Life in LA

Miss Alice realized a dream in 2015. It all begun in a little studio in Venice with just two students and quickly grew to more locations, including Topanga, Brentwood & outdoors in 2020—since then thousands of happy kids have danced with Miss Alice.
